Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and authentication credentials. We use Supabase for secure authentication.

Usage Data: We collect information about how you use Freqium, including which frequencies you listen to, session duration, and feature usage. This data helps us improve our service and personalize your experience.

Payment Information: Payment processing is handled by Lemon Squeezy. We do not store credit card numbers or full payment details on our servers. We receive confirmation of your subscription status only.

Device Information: We may collect basic device information (browser type, operating system) to optimize audio playback and ensure compatibility.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and maintain the Freqium service
  • To personalize frequency recommendations via our AI advisor
  • To process subscriptions and manage your account
  • To track your session history and wellness progress
  • To improve our frequency database and protocols based on aggregate usage
  • To send important service updates (not marketing without consent)

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase (PostgreSQL) with Row Level Security (RLS) policies that ensure users can only access their own data. All data transmission is encrypted via TLS/SSL.

Session history may be stored locally on your device using browser localStorage for offline access. You can clear this data at any time through your browser settings.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

  • Supabase: Database and authentication provider
  • Lemon Squeezy: Payment processing
  • DeepSeek: AI chat functionality (conversation context only, no personal identifiers)
  • Vercel: Hosting and content delivery
  • Meta Platforms: Advertising measurement. We send page views, content views, checkout starts, leads, and purchases through the Meta Pixel and Conversions API. A purchase includes the order total in USD, a hashed email address, and, when we have them, a hashed phone number, IP address, browser type, and Meta click cookies.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your account and associated data
  • Export your session history and usage data
  • Opt out of non-essential data collection

6. Cookies & Local Storage

We use essential cookies and localStorage for authentication state, theme preferences, and session tracking.

We also load the Meta Pixel on each visit. Before you accept optional cookies, it runs in a limited mode: Meta is told to limit how the hit is used, and we do not attach your email or Meta click cookies to those browser events. The hit can still include technical data such as IP address and browser type. If you accept, measurement is full, including Meta cookies. If you decline, it stays limited. Decline does not unload the pixel.

When a payment succeeds, our server also sends a purchase event to Meta with the charged amount and a hashed email, using the click details captured at checkout. That report is separate from the cookie choice. To opt out of ads measurement, contact us at the address below.

7. Health Data

Freqium is a wellness tool, not a medical device. Any health-related information you share through our AI chat is processed in real-time and is not stored or used to build a health profile. We do not collect biometric data.

Apple Health (iOS app only). If you allow it, the Freqium iOS app reads your heart rate and heart rate variability (HRV) from Apple Health, and can save your sessions there as Mindful Minutes. We use these readings only to show your before and after numbers on your device. They stay on your device. We never send them to Freqium's servers, never share or sell them, and never use them for advertising or marketing. Access is off until you turn it on, and you can revoke it at any time in Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices → Freqium.

8. Children's Privacy

Freqium is not intended for use by children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification.
